Mobile Home Fire on Aenon Church Road

On January 12, at approximately 5:56 a.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a structure fire located on Aenon Church Road. Reports indicated possible occupants were trapped inside the mobile home.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire coming from a mobile home. Firefighters immediately initiated a search and rescue operation, locating and pulling two occupants from the home. Meanwhile, crews worked to bring the fire under control and extinguished. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital. It has been subsequently confirmed that one victim has sadly succumbed to injuries.

The State Fire Marshal’s office was called to the scene for further investigation.

The Tallahassee Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Leon County EMS, and Talquin Electric Cooperative.
