A note from Jesse's Mom

The Jesse Correia Memorial Fund was created in memory of my five and a half year old son. Jesse loved everything about his life. He loved the outdoors and was very happy camping and hiking. His school encouraged the arts, and he enjoyed acting in plays and loved to draw. Jesse's life was enriched by his participation in Tumbling Tots and by having the dream of playing baseball for the FSU Seminoles. At such a tender age, these activities and his own dreams provided him with inspiration, a sense of purpose, discipline, and enhanced his self-esteem. All of this by having fun!

Sponsored Camps

Spring Break Camps

The Jesse Correia Memorial Fund now supports Spring Break Camps at Jack McLean, LeVerne Payne, and Walker-Ford community centers. Planned activities include a variety of arts & crafts, fun games, field trips, and guest speakers. Special events such as wildlife presentations, peacebuilding, non-violent communication segments, as well as STEAM-centered (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities are also integral parts of these camps.

Funding from the Jesse Correia Memorial Fund helps to provide supplies, materials, and personnel to operate the camps while allowing campers to attend and participate free of charge. Breakfast and lunch are also provided everyday for free.
